Access to the outdoors should not be a privilege but an opportunity available to every child. As a Colorado non-profit organization, we work hard to provide access to any family who would like to participate in our programs. Through grants, annual events, and donor support, we provide tuition assistance, local and regional outreach and inclusion initiatives to provide access to adventure for all. Gifts from Donor Advised Funds are welcome.
A five year commitment of $5,000 or more per year to the Wendy Brooks Legacy Fund qualifies you to become an Academy Trailblazer. This foundational financial program directly supports our tuition assistance and allows us to award nearly $300,000 to local families annually. Benefits include:1st priority registration, exclusive events, annual gift, and website recognition.
A donation of $1,000 or more to the Wendy Brooks Legacy Fund qualifies you to become an Academy Pathfinder for the following camp season. Benefits include: Access to 2nd priority registration and website recognition.
A donation of $500 or more to the Wendy Brooks Legacy Fund qualifies you to become an Academy Thru-Hiker. Benefits include: Website recognition.
A donation of $100 or more Wendy Brooks Legacy Fund qualifies you to become an Academy Day Hiker. Benefits include: Website recognition.
A donation of $1 – $99 to the Wendy Brooks Legacy Fund qualifies you to become an Academy Nature Lover. Benefits include: Website recognition.
Telluride Academy is the result of the vision and leadership of our beloved founder and guiding light, Wendy Brooks. The Wendy Brooks Legacy Fund is dedicated to providing access to the outdoors and preserving the long-term future of Telluride Academy. Through tuition assistance, including the Wendy Brooks Scholarship and programming support, your donation helps to provide more children with the immense benefits of time spent outdoors connecting with nature and each other.
