AGES 8-10

Get ready to climb, rappel, and make epic memories in “Rapper’s Delight!”

This action-packed two-night adventure is perfect for 7–9-year-olds who are ready to rock—literally! Campers will head to the rugged cliffs of the Ouray and Silverton areas, where they’ll learn the fundamentals of rock climbing, master safety techniques, and experience the thrill of rappelling down towering crags.

Guided by experienced instructors, young adventurers will challenge themselves, build confidence, and discover the excitement of climbing and rappelling in some of Colorado’s most stunning mountain settings. When the day’s adventures are done, the fun continues with cozy campfire nights, gooey s’mores, and stargazing under the clear mountain skies.

And to top it all off, the group will celebrate their accomplishments with a refreshing visit to the famous Ouray Hot Springs, where they can soak, splash, and savor the perfect end to their epic adventure!

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
