Get ready to scale new heights with Mini Mountaineers, an action-packed adventure designed for young explorers of all ability levels!

Join us as we dive into the exciting world of climbing, where you’ll learn bouldering and top-rope techniques with the help of our fun and supportive instructors. As you conquer rock faces and build confidence, you’ll also discover the magic of the great outdoors in the breathtaking Telluride region. Beyond climbing, we’ll set off on thrilling hikes, explore hidden trails, and learn all about the wonders of nature. Come laugh, climb, and discover your adventurous side in the stunning San Juan Mountains with Mini Mountaineers!

A detailed daily itinerary will be provided to you on the Monday morning of the program.

Schedule:

Daily: 9:00 am – 4:45 pm

Monday, August 3rd – Thursday, August 6th

No Overnights (Day Program)

*All programs in Sessions 9 and 10 will be based out of the Telluride Mountain School in Lawson Hill.

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
