AGES 11-13

Join us on the road trip of a lifetime through the canyons and cliffs of Utah’s renowned national parks! Throughout this immersive camp, we’ll explore the most thrilling aspects each park has to offer – from exploring below the rim of Zion’s famous canyons, to journeying on horseback among ancient sandstone walls, to marveling at the world-famous night skies of Capitol Reef, to discovering the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon! On our expedition, we’ll engage with National Park Rangers who will enlighten us on astronomy, geology, and the rich history woven into each area. After spending two unforgettable nights camping amongst the redrock cliffs of Capital Reef National Park, we’ll unwind in a beautiful, one-of-a-kind ranch house central to Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park. Future Rangers, assemble – and don’t forget to bring your friends along for this extraordinary journey!

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
