Access to unforgettable outdoor learning experiences should be available to every student. Telluride Academy offers a variety of support options to help families participate in our programs.
Need-Based Tuition Assistance
Families can receive up to 85% off camp tuition based on household income. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and funding is limited. One application is required per student. Eligible students must attend either Telluride R-1 School District, Norwood School District R2-Jt, and West End School District RE-2.

Wendy Brooks Scholarship
Who Qualifies: Campers ages 12+ applying to multi-day travel or adventure programs. Application must be completed by the student. Eligible students must attend either Telluride R-1 School District, Norwood School District R2-Jt, and West End School District RE-2.
Chason P. Russell Scholarship for Outdoor Leadership Challenge
Who Qualifies: Outdoor Leadership Challenge is a two-week immersive program that blends team-building, wilderness skills, a self-supported backpacking trip through the San Juan Mountains, and a multi-day paddling adventure on the river. Students gain confidence, leadership experience, and outdoor proficiency through hands-on challenge and exploration. The Chason P. Russell Scholarship covers the cost of the entire OLC program. Eligible students must attend either Telluride R-1 School District, Norwood School District R2-Jt, and West End School District RE-2. Application must be completed by the student.
DISCOUNTS
School District Discount – 30% Off Camp Tuition
Who Qualifies: Students attending Telluride R-1 School District, Norwood School District R2-Jt, and West End School District RE-2. Link to be provided by your individual school district. Maximum discount of $1200 per student per summer.
Deed-Restricted Housing Discount – 40% Off Camp Tuition
Who Qualifies: Families living in deed-restricted housing within Telluride, Mountain Village, or San Miguel County. Maximum discount of $900 per student per summer.
