Rock and Rollers

Day Program
|
AGES 6-8

Get ready to rock, roll, and find your balance in the heart of the San Juan Mountains! Rocks and Rolls is a week-long adventure where campers blend strength, focus, and fun while exploring the world of climbing, bouldering, and slacklining in Colorado’s most stunning landscapes.

Throughout the week, we’ll tackle climbing and bouldering challenges fit for both first-time climbers and seasoned crushers. Between climbing sessions, campers will work on mastering balance, breathing, and body awareness as they take on slacklines strung across meadows, forests, and mountain views. From fingertip holds to steady footsteps, this camp is all about finding balance—on the rocks, on the line, and within yourself.

But the adventure doesn’t stop there! We’ll roll through sessions at Telluride Gymnastics, play wildly fun games, share stories, and enjoy plenty of free time to just be kids in the mountains. With a new crew of Rocks and Rolls companions by your side, you’ll reach new heights, build confidence, and learn to climb and balance anywhere adventure takes you.

A detailed daily itinerary will be provided to you on the Monday morning of the program.

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
