AGES 9-12

Join us for an unforgettable summer experience at “Red, White, and Build!” at Telluride Academy, where creativity meets community spirit! This hands-on camp invites young builders and artists to collaborate in crafting a spectacular float for Telluride’s 4th of July parade. Participants will dive into design, construction, and decoration, using vibrant colors and patriotic themes to represent the heart of our community. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, campers will learn valuable skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and artistic expression while fostering friendships and making lasting memories. The camp culminates in the exciting parade, where campers will showcase their hard work and pride in their float, celebrating our nation’s independence in style. Join us for this unique blend of creativity and celebration—it’s a summer experience you won’t want to miss!

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
