Pedalpalooza

Overnight Program
|
AGES 9-11

Get ready to kick your mountain biking skills into high gear with Pedalpalooza—the ultimate pedal-powered adventure for intermediate riders! Over four action-packed days, you’ll level up your riding as you learn new techniques, explore some of the region’s best singletrack, and experience the thrill of mountain biking in a whole new way.

From building uphill endurance to sharpening cornering skills and learning how to find clean, confident lines, Pedalpalooza is all about progression. After focused introductory skill sessions, instructors will choose trails that best match the group’s ability level so you can put your new skills to the test on fun, flowing terrain and exciting descents.

Midweek, we’ll take the adventure up a notch with an awesome double-overnight camping trip in the region—complete with starry skies, campfires, and plenty of s’mores. After long days of riding, you’ll unwind with your crew, share stories, and enjoy the quiet magic of summer nights outdoors.

Whether you’re navigating technical sections, climbing with confidence, or cruising along your favorite stretches of singletrack, this camp is designed to help you progress as a rider while having an unforgettable week outside. Grab your helmet, bring your energy, and get ready for a mountain biking experience that’s equal parts challenge, exploration, and fun.

*Students are required to provide their own bikes and helmets for this program.

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
