Pedal Progressive

Overnight Program
|
AGES 9-11

Pedal Progressive’s skill-building bike clinics are perfect for intermediate and advanced riders alike. Adopting an innovative and adaptive format that allows for smaller instructor-to-student ratios, this biking program is designed to create more meaningful experiences in the saddle. After some flat-land workshops and biking games, riders will be organized into small groups, each with the ability to focus on individual needs and wishes. Utilizing local trails and some superb single-track locations in the region, Pedal Progressive will always travel as a group to each day’s locale. Once on-trail, riders will receive individualized attention from the Academy’s MTB instructors and the ability to move between smaller groups depending on progress and desired focus. When we’re not on-trail we will be exploring and enjoying the San Juan region as a collective crew with exciting overnights, engaging group games and more!

Students are required to provide their own mountain bikes and helmets for this program.

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
