Catch the waves and ride the adventure in “Laguna Beach Longboarders”!

This exciting week-long Telluride Academy camp takes campers to the iconic shores of Laguna Beach, California, for an unforgettable surfing experience. Based out of Crystal Cove State Park and the scenic Moro Campground, campers will spend four thrilling days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) learning and perfecting their surfing skills on some of California’s most famous beaches. With expert instructors from California Surf Experience guiding the way, participants will gain confidence on their boards while enjoying the sun, sand, and surf.

Midweek, we’ll trade the waves for an exciting rest-day adventure in Los Angeles, giving campers a chance to explore the vibrant city and recharge for more surf action. Evenings will be spent around the campfire, sharing stories and creating lasting memories. Join Laguna Beach Longboarders for the ultimate mix of surfing, exploration, and coastal fun!

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
