High Camp Buddies is an exciting all-girls camp designed to foster mentorship, adventure, and friendship! Building on the success of our “Big Buddy, Little Buddy” program, this camp pairs younger girls with teen role models who guide them through thrilling outdoor activities like rock climbing, paddleboarding, hiking, and exploring nature. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, campers will spend the week bonding with their “buddies” while learning new skills and gaining confidence. The highlight of the adventure is a single overnight stay at the High Camp Hut, a stunning backcountry retreat surrounded by breathtaking views. There, campers will enjoy one night under the stars, cooking campfire meals, sharing stories, and deepening their connections with nature and each other. The week wraps up with a Pizza Party celebration to reflect on all the adventures, new friendships, and accomplishments. High Camp Buddies offers an unforgettable week of empowerment and outdoor fun!
All participants in need will receive Telluride Academy backpacks, sleeping bags and sleeping pads while participating in this program. We ask that you bring your child’s belongings in a duffle bag on the first morning so instructors can help students properly pack their provided backpacks.
