Directors, technicians, actors… assemble! In Telluride Academy’s exciting NEW film production program, students will engage their creative gears to conceive, write and produce a short film against the stunning backdrop of Telluride, Colorado. The journey begins as we delve into the visions of our participants through film-school-esque exercises amidst the great outdoors. With our minds activated, we’ll then dive into the intricacies of running a production set and mastering the use of professional-grade film equipment.
After acquiring the essential know-how, we’ll transition to the writer’s room, this time set around the campfire. Amidst final script edits and double-stacked s’mores, we’ll embark on our shoot days! Our mini production group will travel by van, equipped with all necessary gear, to capture the shots we need. As the curtains close on this filmmaking odyssey, Foliage Film Productions will unveil their creation at our Saturday screening and debut party! Everyone is invited!
