Immerse yourself in the rugged charm of the region as we engage in hands-on activities, channeling the spirit of the Old West above and around Telluride. Explore several mesas and connect with the heart of ranch life by visiting working ranches and local farms. We’ll spend our days rollin’ up our sleeves for some good old-fashioned “rustlin’ and hustlin'” — tending to vegetable gardens and visiting farm animals. Get ready to embrace the authentic ranch lifestyle and create lasting memories — this is an adventure that will linger in your heart long after the dust settles!

A detailed daily itinerary will be provided to you on the Monday morning of the program.

No Overnights (Day Program)

*All programs in Sessions 9 and 10 will be based out of the Telluride Mountain School in Lawson Hill.

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
