A program from the past, “ColoRADical” is offered for students with advanced mountain biking know-how and gusto for adventure. During this storied program, participants will shred some of the rad-est trails in the southwest, culminating with an excursion on the world-renowned Monarch Crest Trail. Once out of the saddle, we’ll get off the trail and onto the water in Browns Canyon. This class III river adventure will send us on an exciting journey down the Arkansas River with professional whitewater guides. Telluride Academy honors its past with this program, all while keeping a keen focus on the future, aiming to inspire and prepare the next generation of mountain biking enthusiasts. Guided by Oscar Llodra, an instructor who was once a student in this very program, “ColoRADical” delivers a memorable, demanding and meaningful experience for those seeking personal growth, knowledge, and lasting friendships!
*Important note: Students must be upper intermediate to advanced mountain bikers to participate in this program. Students will be required to ride both uphill and downhill on moderately technical terrain.
*Students are required to provide their own mountain bikes and helmets for this program.
