Two Week Day Program

Introducing the “Circus of Magic & Possibility!” New in 2024, Telluride Academy and Telluride Theater are partnering to unveil a new program designed to preserve the essence and legacy of Sally Davis and Circus Holus Bolus. Dive into the world of cirque arts- mastering clowning, tricks, juggling, and performance skills while delving into prop-making, costume design, and set creation. Whether interested in performing arts, set and costume design, or both, students of all passions and skill levels are welcome to join this program! Led by the visionary directors and talented specialists of Telluride Theatre, this immersive program promises an unforgettable, fun-filled experience. In addition to honing circus arts, students will also spend half their days participating in wilderness adventures and exploring the nearby San Juan Mountains. The grand finale will be a full production at the Palm Theater on June 28th and June 29th.

Week 2: Monday – Saturday

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
