Did you know that the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization has reported over 130 Bigfoot sightings in the state of Colorado? Now, students have the opportunity to become aspiring cryptozoologists and embark on their own exhilarating quest for a Bigfoot encounter! Our NEW “Adventures of Bigfoot” program invites young explorers to unleash their creativity as they create homemade Bigfoot costumes, setting the stage for a mystical adventure. They’ll venture into the wilderness to follow Bigfoot tracks through lush forests, along serene waterways and even at the climbing crag. As the sun sets, they’ll camp under the stars, all while attempting to lore Bigfoot in with delectable camp cuisine and songs of folklore. ‘Adventures of Bigfoot’ is a captivating program designed to ignite imaginations, nurture a deep appreciation for the great outdoors and cultivate the pure joy of discovery!

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
