Surf ‘n’ Cycle

Overnight Program
|
AGES 11-13

Surf, Cycle, Repeat! This is a multi-sport excursion for our most adventurous students! This program will start with a day of local rides, bike instruction and flat water SUPing. On day two, we will travel to biking mecca, Fruita, Colorado to experience epic off-road mountain biking and water adventure. We’ll spend our days improving our biking skills on smooth and flowing single track and learn how to ride the waves at Imondi Wakezone! We will strap on our wakeboards and hold on tight as an overhead cable system swiftly pulls us across tranquil waters. We’ll even play, jump and bounce our way around Imondi’s massive, inflatable water park. During our overnight, we will indulge in delicious camp cuisine, tell funny stories by the campfire, play hilarious group games, and share our love for the great outdoors. If you are an aspiring adventurer with ambitions to become a competent mountain AND water athlete then take advantage of this multi-sport opportunity and connect with Surf Cycle!

*Students are required to provide their own mountain bikes and helmets for this program.

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
