Join us for our fully revamped “San Juan Archeology” program as we travel to the true southwestern part of the state to learn about indigenous history, culture and archeological findings. Our first day will be spent locally- getting to know each other, participating in team-building activities and adventuring outside. On Tuesday we’ll head to Crow Canyon Archaeological Center’s campus for two days of hands-on, interactive programming. It is here, on Crow Canyon’s 170-acre campus, that our students will dive deep into ancestral culture and archeological science to learn about the complex interactions between people and their environments. Students will sleep in rustic cabins modeled after Navajo hogans and embrace sweeping views of gorgeous meadows and pinyon and juniper covered hillsides. On Thursday, we’ll head to Mesa Verde National Park to learn about the historically thriving communities and rich cultural heritage of 26 different indigenous tribes. This program will open your eyes to a world of understanding and enlightenment. Join us on this fun and enriching adventure!
