Calling all developers, programmers, engineers, artists, technology gurus and simply anyone with a desire to learn how to CODE! This all NEW “Creative Coding” program partners with Heather Romney from the Telluride Neuromorphs for a week of innovative and visionary workshops about technology, imagination and automation. Students in this program will create interactive drawings, animations, games and apps for computers and phones using P5.js, a programming language written for artists and other creative types. “Creative Coding” is a coding camp designed for EVERYONE! Students do not need prior coding experience or significant proficiency in math or science. In true Academy style, we’ll even go on a couple outdoor adventures to get everyone moving. “Creative Coding” is a program that will allow your love for imagination, technology and the outdoors to intersect in a productive and fun-filled week!

Telluride Academy's Overnight Policy

Our talented instructors work hard to combat student homesickness on overnight programs. For many students, this experience might be their first time camping or away from home! In the days leading up to the overnight(s), the instructors have positive conversations with the groups to get them excited and prepared for their overnight adventures. This dynamic gets interrupted when a student is picked up early from their overnight. For this reason, we can not accommodate early pick-ups, unless in the case of an emergency. If your child does not want to attend the overnight, or if you have prior commitments that require early pick-up accommodations, we ask that you consider choosing a day program instead. Please call our office with any questions or concerns.
