Explore the crystal blue water of Lake Tahoe as we pack our van and head west to the sunshine state! Giant granite boulders, warm sands and see-through kayaks await us in North Lake Tahoe. But first, we’ll venture our way through Utah and Nevada! To start the excursion, we’ll head to Moab to see sandstone arches and desert vistas before heading further west to Bryce Canyon National Park. Hiking to hidden waterfalls, towering hoodoos, and gorgeous viewpoints will fill our days and camera rolls. From there, we’ll hit the road to Zion National Park, where the striking red rock forms secret emerald pools and stunning lookouts. After Zion, we will head to our main destination – Lake Tahoe! Our first stop in California will be the famed Emerald Bay in South Lake Tahoe. Known for its shimmering emerald waters, we will enjoy games on the beach and set out in our pack rafts for some off-shore escapades! Finally, we will drive to North Lake Tahoe to enjoy the sun at Kings Beach! While at Kings Beach, we will rent clear-bottom kayaks from Wild Society to investigate lake creatures. We will venture out into the darkness on a lit-up after-dark kayak tour and enjoy dinner “on the town.” At the end of the trip, we’ll share stories and embrace our new lifelong friends before heading back to the box canyon!

Program departs on Wednesday, July 19th and returns on Sunday, July 30th.
Wednesday, July 19th: Meet and greet! Load the van, grocery shop, hike & camp in Moab, UT!
Thursday, July 20th – Saturday, July 22nd: Explore Zion and Bryce National Parks! Hike ridgelines, venture to emerald waterfalls and explore hoodoo mazes.
Sunday, July 23rd: Pack up and drive to Hawthorne, NV. Camp.
Monday, July 24th – Tuesday, July 25th: Emerald Bay! Rent kayaks and paddle to Fannette Island.
Wednesday, July 26th – Friday, July 28th: King’s Beach! Rent clear kayaks and SUPs from Wild Society and bask in the sun on sandy beaches. Lit Up After Dark kayak tour and dinner on the town!
Saturday, July 29th: Pack up and drive to campsite outside Salt Lake City, UT.
Sunday, July 30th: Back to the box canyon! Hugs and high fives.
